There's been a lot of talk about momentum in the Democratic nomination race, but very little talk about the real big MO: Missouri. Missouri has 74 delegates at stake next week, the most of any state to that point and more than IA and NH combined. Originally there was very little polling there because it was assumed Gephardt would run away with his home state. With Gephardt out, Missouri becomes very important. Here's a St. Louis Post-Dispatch article from yesterday on how the candidates are pursuing MO. I should point out that the first time I ever voted was in the 1992 MO Democratic Caucus. I voted for Tsongas, but was amazed at how our political system worked. I remember a wife telling her husband to move from one caucus over to her caucus, and he did. Later two caucuses were tied for the last delegate from our precinct and so they flipped a coin. That was also the last time I ever voted in MO.
